T.O. or Not T.O….That is the Question

By all account the Terrell Owens circus is coming to Cincinnati and for some reason that I am clearly missing, everyone seems to be...happy about it? This is the same T.O. that whined his way out of San
Francisco dividing the locker room literally in half along the way, right? The same guy who accused a star QB in Philly of quitting on his team and fought with everyone from the head coach to the waterboy? The sit-up in the driveway guy? The one who cried for his Dallas quarterback before he threw him under the bus? That guy? Ok, so he made it through last year without incident...in BUFFALO. A team with no expectations, no quarterback, and a tiny media market. Rae Carruth could have been at the other wide out position and no one would have noticed. Kudos to him, but did that one season make everyone forget about the three previous teams that he imploded along the way? The answer apparently is...yes. Not for me. I write this as a fan of the Bengals and being concerned for their success this year and in the future and I don't think this risk is worth it. I'm a practical guy though so let's examine this practically based on the arguments for this signing...

The contract is allegedly for $2 million in base salary and $2 million in
incentives including yards, catches, and TD's.
